The room was fine. Water was hot and AC worked. Parking is $37 a night. They also didn’t run my card until after I left the hotel. I reserved this room 2 months prior and through i had already payed for it, so that is a bit frustrating. The also put a hold on my card for $180 for 5 days after I left for incidentals. Will not return to this hotel.

The entire staff is non-compliant with helping its guess. For 3 weeks I have sent messages and made telephone calls regarding a family heirloom accidently left in the bed sheets upon my check out. Within 40 minutes of arriving to the airport, I realized I had left behind my beloved Pooh Bear. While this may seem trivial, its not not. This bear has been handed down 3 generations in my family! When I called the desk clerk, she was rude and offered no assistance or concern! When I called backed on the same day, several hours later, a different desk clerk told me the room had been cleaned by the Housekeeping Supervisor but she claimed the teddy bear wasn't found. I even told the desk clerk I would offer a monetary reward for the safe return of Pooh Bear! Since then, I have reached out to the General Mgr., Asst. Mgr., and even Corporate! But to no avail, No One has contacted me regarding this matter! Don't stay here because no one is responsible to their job titles. Some staff personal saw my bear! And someone know the whereabouts of this bear (probably its at the home of one of its staff members)! No Integrity, no honesty, and most of all, no accountability for their actions! The general mgr. should be ashamed to call herself "general mgr." because of her failure to at least return my calls I specifically left on her voicemail. And, Marriott Corp. should also be ashamed for their negligence for not replying to my email! My future business trips will not include a stay at this hotel.

After I had booked the Residence Inn Midtown for business travel, I received an email from the general manager advising me I had been moved to a nearby Hilton. Since a colleague was traveling with me, I asked whether he would also be moved. She said he would, but she did not send a similar letter to him. Rather, she sent the confirmation to me after I requested it. Not feeling comfortable about this move, I spent 40 minutes on the phone with Hilton before I could confirm my new reservation and see it in my Hilton Honors app. My checkin at the Hilton went smoothly. Upon arrival at the Hilton however, my colleague could not check in to the Hilton. His confirmation number, provided by Residence Inn, was attached to another name - someone who had already checked in. As the hotel was full, the Hilton could not provide him a room. After an hour and a half of back and forth, the Residence Inn finally accommodated him with a room - an upgraded room that I'm sure they didn't want to provide. While it worked out in the end, the process was very unprofessional and a poor experience for the customer (me an my colleague).

Nice breakfast staff but no front desk staff ever there

Breakfast and kitchen staff were great and friendly. Room was clean and nice. Front desk service lacking. Arrived a bit before midnight and no one at front desk. Waited almost 50 minutes to check in and finally got through to Marriott Bonvoy as a Titanium elite. They couldn't get through to the hotel either or find staff for me. Poor guy in the lobby had waited over 45 minutes looking for someone to reprogram his key. Finally I had Marriott Bonvoy start working on transferring my reservation to another hotel nearby. Finally the desk person arrived as they were finishing that and I just decided to stay rather than Uber to a new site. My business partners then flew in that am and we were going to meet at this hotel before heading to our meeting. Again no one at front desk to open locked front entry door during the day or answer the speakerphone. Must be a bad neighborhood and unsafe since the front desk is almost never manned. Will likely choose another Marriott since the Westin, Renaissance, and Marriott normally have staff at the desk. When I arrive late I like to check in and get some rest before meetings the next day.

Not up to Residence Inn standards I’m familiar with. Our room was “gritty”. The bedrooms (2 bed 2 bath) had no luggage racks. Only one bedroom had a chair and desk, the other just a dresser with tv on top. No place to put luggage except floor for a week. The breakfast was hit or miss. For example, First day a Tuesday, bananas available. Same bananas there Wednesday. By Thursday…rotting bananas, rest of stay empty basket. Only oat milk available, no milk for my grandsons cereal except oat. I would not return to this location although all the staff was very nice.
